How is the FAA limitation affecting the design of Mission Point?

We sent an updated package to the FAA at the end of 2019. Due to the pandemic, the plan review was delayed and was approved in August 2021. Our current proposal is fully compliant with the FAA’s feedback from August 2021. While the FAA allowed for taller height limits, we want to base our decisions on feedback from the community and to align with other developments in North Santa Clara. This project is being carefully designed to strike a balance in addressing Santa Clara’s diverse needs, and we are working closely with the community, the City of Santa Clara, and the FAA to determine the optimal building height for this project and to deliver it in a thoughtful and aesthetically appealing plan.
